WHO WE ARE
A Bible church.
WHAT IS A BEREAN?
Bereans were New Testament era residents of a town named Berea in Greece. In Acts 17:11 these people were commended for their devotion to searching the Scriptures to make sure what was being taught was really in the Book.
Like the Bereans, we love and enjoy God's Word. We believe that God's Word is the standard and main source of truth for life. That being said, we just want to open up the Bible and let it speak so lives can be changed by God. We desire to examine God's Word and have 'deep roots' in it, while 'bearing fruit' for God by passionately applying it to our lives for His glory. We are disciples, serious about making more disciples. |
- We are a local body of believers led by our own elder & deacon board.
- We are not a denomination, but part of a fellowship of like-minded churches. Chadron Berean Church is affiliated with the non-denominational Berean Fellowship of Churches, whose mission is, "Planting and strengthening churches to make disciples to reach the world."
- If you have any questions, we encourage you to contact our office. Our pastor or a board member will connect with you.
We welcome you to join us.
We believe the local church is the primary means through which discipleship occurs in a Christian's life. You are welcome to come and grow with us as disciples of Jesus Christ as we study His Word together. Worship services typically last 60-75 minutes, including worship songs, corporate prayer, and a message from the Bible. As His disciples, we have a passion for bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to people locally, regionally and around the world. |
Our main entrance is on the north side (4th Street) but we also have an accessibility ramp at the south entrance.
We believe and teach the clear gospel message. The gospel means good news. The good news is that Jesus Christ, who is God, became a man to redeem man from sin. This was accomplished through His righteous life, sacrificial death, and resurrection. As the God-Man, He alone is our mediator between God and man. We believe that salvation is a gift from God and is received by personal faith (trust) in Jesus as the only sacrifice for sin. Man is justified (declared righteous) by grace (freely) through faith in Christ (apart from works) and that all true believers are kept secure in Christ forever. |
