Hey everyone,
I wanted to send out an update and another reminder about our Good Friday service on Friday night at 7:00 on Facebook Live, where we will “Behold our King” as He takes up His cross for our sins in John 19. It’s going to be a special evening where we worshipfully reflect the most special moment in history.
Our worship leader Terry plans on being there with his guitar at least to play some music for us and we’ve decided to even have communion together through it. We may not be able to gather as we want to, but we can still celebrate this wonderful Easter moment when together in spirit and in truth, when Jesus gave His body as the bread and His blood as the wine.
I think it’s going to be a neat time, maybe even a once in a lifetime kind of time. So if you want to, go ahead and get some elements prepared ahead of time. At church, we usually use those little saltine crackers and grape juice. You can use whatever you have on hand – crackers or bread. What exactly you use doesn’t really matter. What’s important is that we Behold our King’s awesome sacrifice for us. I hope you will join us for this special time.
God bless,
Pastor Justin
